Are you failing a class? 3 easy steps to recovering.
April 11, 2008

Slacking always has two key elements: You either make it or you fail miserably. If you are slacking, you ought to know the possibilities of your actions because just like anything in life, it doesn’t guarantee you success. So, this post will cover on how you can recover if you’ve failed or are currently failing at somethin’. So, for this case, I’ll talk about “what to do when failing a class”
Ok, here is the case:
John is failing english and he really needs the grade to pass the year. John has a history of not doing his work and barely ever attends class. John always tries to vindicate his actions, but it doesn’t seem credible to the teacher.
Looking at John’s case, here are some tips John can get.
1. Commit Time- So, if you are currently failing something, whether it be relationship, school, or a threat from work, there is a solution. You need start dedicating more time. Recovery doesn’t happen overnight, but if you show the effort the game is yours.
2. Trust- Trust is something that you must build, as it cannot be bought from someone. So, in this case John would have to start building more trust by doing little things, such as being honest, helping out etc.
3. Get help- Tutor, counselor, etc. -This is a key point, as many students and even adults forget about their options in situations. If you are struggling in something, why not find a solution rather than cry over it? Try to get a tutor, counselor, or talk to teacher. Ask them for help and you will get it.
