AT&T got forced into giving cheap DSL.

Date June 25, 2007

Just when you thought good internet-DSL-can’t get any cheaper, AT&T sadly proves you wrong. Back then when Dsl Lite was $19.99 and $14.99 in some states, it was by far the cheapest fast access service offered. Competitors to AT&T have also lowered their rates to $19.99, but now, its a whole different ball game.

Dsl Lite is just as affordable as any internet service now-even DIAL-UP!!! Most companies like AOL and PeoplePC give you that 56k dial-up internet for about 10 bucks. AT&T from now on, until atleast 2 and 1/2 years will HAVE to offer their Dsl Lite service for minimum $10. The funny part is that AT&T pretty much despises this offer so their abstaining all their actions into advertising this.

Why are they doing it if they don’t want to???

[If] you]] paid your bills or stumbled upon a few signs or ads across the nation, you would realize by now by that Bellsouth and AT&T synthesized themselves into one super duper company. So now for the subject’s benefits, the FCC had to interfere in most of our lives and this time, it actually did something good. AT&T’s agreement with the FCC forced AT&T to offer this plan, and like I said before, it will be going on for a good 2 1/2 years. By then of course, internet would probably get better and cheaper but you can live off 768 kbps (13x faster than dial-up)for a long time than use dial-up.

What’s the catch?

Like every wonderful offer, theirs always something that degrades its value. As for this deal, you have to be a NEW customer to Bellsouth and agree to a yearly contract before receiving this service. LUCKILY!!!! you’ll get a free modem so don’t worry about squandering more than 10 bucks. Remember, AT&T is trying all its best to avoid telling customers about this offer, but if your a slacker, you know things. On the page, you will have to go on the application process, or go on the terms page, on the bottom of the main section. This is where you will find this plan.
You can always call them if you still can’t find it.

Enjoy the $10 Dsl if you find it appealing!
