Improve your writing skill

Date April 22, 2008

Writing is important in general. The way you write can determine what type of person you are. Well, not always, but it can help others identify your inner secrets. The word choice, your type of syntax and organization do indicate something along the road. There are several ways in order to gain good experience. When I say experience, I mean it from a slacker’s point of view. I obviously won’t ask you to read shakespeare excerpts and write a whole essay on it. NO! That is definitely not what I’d tell you, simply because that’s not how we roll’.

How do we roll then?

One of the best ways to gain experience in writing is sitting in a class or just about any environment and write whatever. I mean whatever. If your in a chemistry class, write things that you see around your environment. Now, the trick doesn’t end there, you have to incorporate words from that environment and stick them in your piece. Doing this may make your writing a piece where it simply does not make any sense. However, if you do this for a while you will see that it will be end up in a joke and you will accumulate a good sense of vocab.
