Make your time more efficient

Date February 6, 2008

One of the latest tactics I have been experimenting on is, making time more available to you. In other words, learn to control your time, and make the best out of it.

I am a slacker, and what the hell inspires me to say this?

This semester I am literally bombarded with loads of work, and I must say, slacking just isn’t working in getting the top notch grades, and I have decided to track my time. For now, I am concentrating on what I need to do, and am trying to get my desired result with my fourth maximum effort. You hear me, fourth maximum effort.
Track your time by doing the following things:

1. Write down what you have to do.

I promise you, if you write down what you have to do, you will be far more successful than just trying to memorize from the top of your head. Be alert, and take actions on your responsibilites.

2. Break your time up

This is a really good option when you have a variety of work. If you can manage your time between several tasks, I don’t see a reason why you can’t finish your given tasks.

3. Be alert, and passionate about what you do.

This is one of the key elements you need to succeed out there. If you are passionate and truly devoted to your goal, you will see how easy everything is. Well, not always easy, but how much of a happy camper you can be.

4. Priority.

Have and set some priorities. If you know you have a paper due in two weeks, and a project due in 3 days, a smart move is to get started on the project and then the paper. But then again, don’t wait till the 13th day to get started on the paper. The earlier the better.

5. LAST but NOT LEAST, STOP PROCRASTINATING.

This is one of the worst move one makes in their life. Procrastination leads to guranteed destruction. You just don’t learn.

These tips are useful in whatever you do, whether it be passive blogging, taking the dog out on a walk, or just studying to get some top notch grades, it is a universal rule.
