What is Marketing?

Marketing is a very important factor in getting your site to the place you want it to be at. Whether, it’d be known as something ‘notorious’ or ‘extravagance’, it is all from our friendly business factor marketing. Marketing helps you build the brand you want, it helps you give people the oppurtunity to know you, and understand your brand.

Marketing a new site.

One of the best ways to get exposure on a website is, marketing. Marketing by using various advertising tools, which will you massive exposure in a certain category. For example, if you have a blog about ‘Teaching HTML’, you’d need to advertise on sites, who have related content to you.

What can you use to market the site?

One of the best ways to market a site is, get more and more backlinks. Exchange links with high PR sites, or buy them. Get people to review your site. Reviewing a site, just gives so much exposure because the visitors already have a basic foundation of your site’s purpose, and the type of information offered. Another option is, buy advertising banners, use google adwords, to expand the exposure.

You get traffic, but it seems to go down..
Well, this is really common just because that the visitors aren’t getting what they expect. If you see your visitors increase after an ad, write more and more content, and make sure you keep those visitors. Hold contests, so you have people in your blog. Contests, are really a great incentive to keep traffic increasing.

So remember…

- Make your posts bit descriptive, but informative. Get to the point. Don’t bore them.
- Update more often. 2 times a day is great. Make a commitment to atleast 1.
- Get to know your readers, write what they want.
