Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Date April 8, 2008

Recently, I’ve been reading lot of buzz in the blogosphere about how blogging has become far more than a passion. To many, it has become a competition of who flips new content first. For others, it has become a job, where it is stereotyped as a slack job and how it gives you independence, but in reality, it has become quite stressful and requires many more hours than a 9-5 job.

What have I been doing?

I have got my hands one great book in town and that is, ” Rich Dad, Poor Dad”
The book is quite interesting as it mainly focuses on how we work for money. It basically dissects the classes in the soicety and how the rich, middle, and poor all have a role. It’s a really interesting book, and I hope to reflect some good posts on it soon.

Here is something I really liked

Taxes are just one small section on learning how to have
money work for you. Today, I just wanted to find out if you still have the passion to
learn about money. Most people don’t. They want to go to school, learn a profession,
have fun at their work, and earn lots of money. One day they wake up with big money
problems, and then they can’t stop working. That’s the price of only knowing how to
work for money instead of studying how to have money work for you.

If you want to read it, the book is available for free on google books.
